The Orissa State Bureau of Text Book Preparation & Production, Bhubaneswar is entrusted with production of text books, hand books for teachers, work books for pupils and other educational literatures useful for furtherance of teaching and learning in educational institutions. Besides publication of different categories of books, the Bureau has taken up printing works of different Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous bodies.
In the beginning of the academic session, 2008 all text books approved by the C.H.S.E., Orissa have been printed and distributed to meet the requirements of +2 students of Orissa. Orissa State Bureau of Text Book Preparation and Production has also prepared and published 14 new titles in different subjects for the +2 and +3 students. 12 titles of books in Oriya language have also been prepared and published for the students, teachers and general readers with financial assistance from the Commission for Scientific and Technical Technology, Ministry of H.R.D., Government of India. |
