  • 1 ) What is e-Admission ?


    e-Admission aims to use Information Technology to process common applications for admission which would reduce time & improve efficiency for the college functionaries who have been doing it manually. It would also make the admission process economical, efficient, hassle free & transparent for the students and their parents. The students/parents have to travel to only one of the 60 colleges under e-Admission process to be able to get admission to any stream of any college of their choices.

  • 2 ) Where can I see the list of colleges that come under the e-Admission process ?


    You can view the list of colleges that comes under the e-Admission process in the website i.e. www.dheorissa.in. You can also view the list of college in Annexure-I in Common Prospectus (CP).

  • 3) How can I get a common application form from my location ?


    You have to go to the nearest Govt. College in your location that should be under the e-Admission process. There you can get Common Application Form (CAF) along with Common Prospectus (CP).

  • 4 ) How much do I pay to buy a CAF ?


    You have to pay Rs. 10/- for CAF and it contain 13 options where you can apply to 13 colleges, if you want to apply in more colleges than you have to get additional sheet from the college.

  • 5 ) Can I get a CAF from Internet ? How ?


    You can download the CAF from the Higher Education website i.e. www.dheorissa.in . There you can preview and can print the CAF otherwise there is a download tab, where you can click and download the CAF.

  • 6 ) How will I know when the forms are available?


    Forms will be available in the colleges only after the next day of the declaration of the HSC result.

  • 7 ) How do I know about the colleges before giving my options?


    You can know about each and every college details which comes under the eAdmission process from the website i.e. www.dheorissa.in .There is a section download college profile, where you can even select the college and can download the profile. You can also find the college profile in your Common Prospectus (CP).

  • 8 ) What is the maximum number of options to fill in a CAF?


    Maximum number of option in a CAF is 13, if you want to apply in more option than you have to get another additional sheet where you can apply for more options.

  • 9 ) here do I know about the reservations and weightage, I am entitled to?


    You can know about the reservation and weightage details in Common Prospectus (CP) point no. 6 & 7.

  • 10 ) How do I submit a filled CAF?


    You can submit the filled CAF in the nearby college that comes under the eAdmission process.

  • 11 ) How much do I pay while submitting a filled CAF?


    If you have purchase the form from the college than you have pay only the price to the no. of option that you have applied.

  • 12 ) The college has given me an Index number. What is the use of it?


    The Index number that has been provided to you is very important; by using that Index no. you can know your status during the admission through website or through the call center.

  • 13 ) How would I know if I am selected? Also can I know which option I have been selected for?


    Through Intimation by postal, website by using your Index no., call center by using your Index no., by SMS if mobile no. is provided, you can know your selection of option along with the waiting list.

  • 14 ) Suppose I want to know my status for other options apart from the first. How can I know about that ?


    You can know about you status for other option apart from the first by calling to our call center which is toll free and the no. is 18003456770

  • 15 ) What should I do after getting Intimation ?


    You have to go to your nearby college that must comes under the eAdmission process along with the documents instructed in the Intimation and draft of Rs. 500/- in favor of the Principal of the Destined college.

  • 16 ) I have made up my mind. Can I take admission now ?


    You can take your Preliminary admission at the applied college. Your original documents will be checked and you will be given a Verification Certificate, which you have to produce at your destination college. The destination college may again ask for your originals. So be prepared. That will be your Final admission.

  • 17 ) My applied college is my destination college.  How do I take admission now ?


    If the Applied College happens to be same as the Destination College, then you would directly take final admission in that college (if selected) without going through the process of preliminary admission in the given date.

  • 18 ) Why should I submit my originals to a college where I will not get admitted ?


    No need of submitting your original certificate in the applied college except the draft for the destined college and School leaving certificate. All other original documents will be verified there itself and will be returned to you along with a verification certificate of your documents.

  • 19 ) Ok. So how much do I pay to the applied college for first admission? Is that value correct? Where can I check ?


    At the time of admission in the applied college you have to submit draft of Rs. 500/-. You can find it in the Common Prospectus (CP) in 5.11.2.

  • 20 ) I hear that the first admissions are on. But I haven’t received any intimation. Why ?


    May be you have not been selected for any of the options given by you. So to know your details just call to our toll free no i.e. 18003456770 and by giving your Index no. you can know your status.

  • 21 ) Your data must be wrong. Where can I cross-check ?


    You can know the status of your admission at the applied college. Proceed to the applied college and show your index number. The authorities at the applied college will show you your status. The notice board at the applied college also shows you the status of all applications received at the college.

  • 22 ) Can I check these figures on the Internet? What is the location ?


    A person should be able to. Now he isnt make that provision on the home page.

  • 23 ) What is this Verification certificate for ?


    Verification certificate means the original certificate is verified at the time of preliminary admission and returned to you back. Verification certificate is used during the final admission in the Destination College; you have to just show the verification certificate, no need of showing your original in the destination college.

  • 24 ) This VC doesn’t talk about my hostel seats. Also it doesn’t tell about my subjects. How do I know about them ?


    You can know about the Hostel seat availability from the Common Prospectus (CP) or by login to the website www.dheorissa.in and can view the college profile by selection the college.

  • 25 ) How much do I pay at the destination college ?


    You have to pay the rest of the amount according to the destination college as you have already paid a draft of Rs. 500/- in favor of the Principal of the destination college.

  • 26 ) What documents shall I have to carry for final admission ?


    You have to carry Verification Certificate, Money-cum-Index no. and the rest of the amount according to the destination college by deducting draft of Rs.500/-. You can view the fees structure of each and every college in the Common Prospectus (CP).

  • 27 ) I have got intimation in the second list. What is the process for admission ?


    You have to carry Verification Certificate, Money-cum-Index no. and the rest of the amount according to the destination college by deducting draft of Rs.500/-. You can view the fees structure of each and every college in the Common Prospectus (CP).

  • 28 ) I have got intimation from the second list. What to do ?


    If you have made up your mind, proceed to the applied college for admission. If you want to wait for the 3rd waiting list, ignore the intimation. Please understand that for all admissions vide the 3rd selection onwards, will be conducted at the destination college only. The concept of applied college ceases to exist then.

  • 29 ) Where can I see data of seats availability of all the colleges ?


    You can see the seat availability of all college in the Common Prospectus (CP) or in the website at College Profile by selecting the college you are interested to know.
